Local alternative rock stars Beecake play the Glasgow Apple Store tomorrow evening, 1 July. Formed in late September 2006 over a bottle of malt whisky in a Glasgow bar, Beecake are Billy Boyd (Vocals, Guitar), John Crawford (Drums, Vocals), Billy Johnston (Guitar, Piano, Vocals) and Rick Martin (Bass, Vocals).

Beecake recently picked up an award for Best Live Act at the Tartan Clef Music Awards, and will be showcasing tracks from debut album, Soul Swimming, at the Apple Store is event.

The gig takes place at 7pm, but due to limited space, Apple asks fans to arrive early to avoid disappointment. Like all Apple Store events, the gig is free.
